Margaret Hail
Founder & Managing Director
Margaret founded Greenfield Agriculture in 1987 with a single field at StandingWeir Farm. Nearly four decades on, she still visits every farm at least once a quarter and chairs the annual planning meeting.
Tom Whitfield
Head of Farm Operations
Tom oversees day-to-day operations across all nine farms, coordinating planting and harvest schedules and making sure machinery, staff and weather all line up.
Priya Anand
Head Agronomist
Priya leads on soil health, crop rotation planning and yield analysis across the group, drawing on the soil moisture sensor network installed on our arable farms.
Carlos Mendez
Livestock & Pig Unit Manager
Carlos manages our outdoor pig unit at Willowmere Farm, with a focus on animal welfare and rotational field management.
Emily Foster
Machinery & Maintenance Lead
Emily keeps the fleet of tractors, combines and irrigation equipment running across all nine farms, and leads the winter maintenance programme.
James O'Brien
Office & Accounts Manager
James handles the books, supplier relationships and payroll, and is usually the first friendly voice you'll hear if you call the farm office.
Hannah Reyes
Farm Manager, Meadowbrook & Hillcrest
Hannah runs the day-to-day at Meadowbrook and Hillcrest, our two sheep and dairy farms in Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
David Okafor
Farm Manager, Riverdale & Oakfield
David manages Riverdale and Oakfield, our fenland potato and arable farms in Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.
Marcus Vane
Farm Manager, Coppergate & Thistledown
Marcus oversees Coppergate in West Yorkshire and Thistledown in Bedfordshire, our two most northerly and southerly arable sites.
Ravi Chandra
Precision Agriculture & IT Lead
Ravi built and maintains the soil moisture sensor network across our fields, feeding real-time data back to the agronomy team.
Sophie Marlowe
Health & Safety Officer
Sophie runs site inductions and safety audits across all nine farms, keeping our machinery and livestock operations compliant and accident-free.
Ben Turner
Grain Store & Logistics Manager
Ben coordinates grain storage, drying and haulage at harvest time, moving produce between our nine farms and out to buyers.
Lucy Petit
HR & Recruitment Manager
Lucy handles recruitment, training and seasonal staffing across all nine farms, from harvest casuals to full-time farm managers.
Grace Adeyemi
Sustainability & Environment Lead
Grace leads our hedgerow, woodland and soil carbon initiatives, working with Priya's team to balance yield with long-term land stewardship.
